Scanning 26 year old slides

I have just picked up a new Nikon ES-2 adapter to fit on my 60mm Macro and D800 to scan B&W negatives that I will develop myself. To try this gizmo out and see how it performs, I dug out some old slides that I shot on Fuji Velvia 50 on my Pentax K1000. The K1000 is 35 years old (bought it when I was in college) and the slides were shot about 26 or 27 years ago. I was amazed by the colour and the quality of the scans.

I scanned 3 images and processed them in Lightroom and Adobe Raw and finished the images in Photoshop, saved as flattened tifs and then save as JPEGs.

Here’s the pix.
